James Suckling 93
Whether this skin-fermented dry pinot gris qualifies as an orange wine is open to discussion. The cooked quince and candied orange aromas are very striking. I love the interplay of the generous fine-grained tannins and creaminess on the medium- to full-bodied palate. Excellent concentration and length for this challenging vintage, plus animating freshness in the long finish. Matured for two years in 500-liter casks of French oak. December 2024.
