The foundations of quality are our vineyard sites and careful, uncompromising work in the vines. Beyond that, it takes passion and enthusiasm, as well as the ambition to become a little better every time. The interplay of all these factors creates the individuality and finesse of our wines. Each year we decide anew what benefits our vines and wines, relying on both tradition and innovation—out in the vineyard and in the cellar. Optimal grape ripeness, selective hand harvesting, and gentle processing of the fruit in the cellar all contribute to a wine’s uniqueness. This finds its most complete expression in our village and single-vineyard wines. They are complex wines with ripe fruit aromas, length, and elegance. They represent the qualitative pinnacle of our range.
