Welcome to the Georg Gustav Huff Winery! Our family-run estate in Rheinhessen looks back on a long winemaking tradition. Since 1710, our family business in Nierstein-Schwabsburg, on the famous Roter Hang, has been producing wines that combine origin, craftsmanship, and passion.

Diversity of Varieties in Rheinhessen

Even though the Riesling from the Roter Hang is our centerpiece – especially the Rieslings from the top vineyards Pettenthal, Hipping, and Schloss Schwabsburg – we are much more than Riesling: true to Rheinhessen’s tradition, we cultivate a wide variety of grape varieties that make our wine style diverse and exciting.

Our most important grape varieties include Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Frühburgunder – to name just a few. In addition, we cultivate other typical Rheinhessen varieties that complete the diversity of our winery. On around 30 hectares of vineyards, including 5 hectares in the top sites of the Roter Hang, we create wines that make authenticity and origin truly tangible.
